Examples of these are fresh vegetables, fruits, low-sugar foods, herbs, and other nuts (chestnuts, almonds, etc.) and spices (chili peppers, ginger, etc.). Take note, however, that there are only five fruits that can be strictly classified as alkaline. These are lemons, limes, grapefruits, avocadoes, and tomatoes. All others are mildly acidic. Besides watching out for your food intake, it’s also a good thing to monitor what you drink. The normal water that you commonly drink contains positive charge of possible acidity. In order to neutralize this, you can get an alkaline water machine to ionize the water and make it alkaline. Too, try juicing wheatgrass and enjoy health benefits like detoxification, protection of liver, and strengthening of cells. Other benefits of wheatgrass include being able to shun tumors and neutralize toxins. Additionally, an alkaline ash diet lowers the chance for you to suffer flu, fatigue, joint and muscle pains, spasms, and persistent headaches.
